Postpartum care does not get the attention it deserves. Regardless of your birth experience, let's honor your body and the time and care you need. We will go over all the patterns found in the body after birth, and we will release those patterns so your body can start healing properly to function better beyond the postpartum period. Additionally, we will go over certain techniques to help close up your pelvic bones after your birth, get the pelvic floor muscles activating better, and help heal from the myriad of issues pregnancy and birth can do to your body. Finally, I strongly believe in combining rest and movement, using Body Ready Method® and postpartum recovery protocols. This body balancing session objectives includes: - Identify restricted mobility of the sacrum and perform mobilization techniques to restore normal motions. - Identify ischial positioning and mobility restrictions and perform proper mobilization techniques. - Identify pubic symphysis dysfunction and perform proper mobilization techniques to release it. - Identify normal spongy bone versus abnormal hard bone and release abnormal bone. - Palpate diaphragm restrictions and release them. - Identify the location of the bladder and uterus externally and help them to regain balance. - Palpate all pelvic floor muscles externally and assess proper strength. - Perform techniques to assess and release the liver and stomach and rebalance them. - Identify and palpate the four qualities of diastasis recti and release restrictions holding recti muscles apart.
